I'm Rich And You Can Be TOO!!!!!!!

 I am living below the poverty line. I tend to have barely enough but I would be content with just enough. Bills go unpaid, I don't own a fancy car or television, and I own a house in the hood of Detroit.... But I am rich and you can be too. Want to know my secret????

We are raised to reach for the stars but it's just an illusion that the stars can be captured. We think if we can just get that job, just get that new car, move to that great town.... then we will have it all. But how does their grass get so green?

We look up to the famous folks and think of how wonderful life must be for them. As children we were told that being a star athlete, in movies, or a politician was a great dream to chase. But look at them now? Is that the dream you wish your child to have?

I am rich, beyond rich even. I may not be famous, have a full bank account in three countries, or even be comfortably middle class, but my riches are worth far more then those things any day. What's my secret? 

I am content with the riches I have and that is what raises their value. I enjoy what I do have and that raises the value. I know my place and make it mine and that makes it worth that much more.

Everyone treasures something. Family and friends are treasures to me. The currency they bring to my bank is laughter, love, support and warmth. I treasure my own piece of ground so I use found things to make it a Home, no matter what the neighbors call theirs. Simple, often cheap or free activities, can add memories to draw out when you are short of funds. If you are ever feeling overdrawn, those friends and family are often a place to turn for a quick loan.

Find your treasures, fill your bank, and remember to pay your bills. You will be rewarded for the giving you do for others. Keep the circle going and you will never be poor and destitute.
